Z-Wave: Aeotec USB STICK as Smartthings’s Secondary controller.

It’s possible to use a Z-Wave dongle as secondary device and use it as a very helpful troubleshooting tool.

Get the Application from the Store

• Use the Smartthings scan for new devices
• use the Z-Wave USB app to set the Dongle in “Learn Mode”.

The Z-Wave protocol will automatically duplicate the full Node list on the Secondary controller (the dongle)

It is now possible to use the Dongle to control/query receive event to and from every node.
